Banbury LCWIP 2022

These are the routes first proposed in 2022 about which there was a public survey with responses due in by the end of June. To date no results of this survey have been published

There are 17 routes proposed, and you can view them by clicking on the thumbnail images below.

Some are routes almost entirely separated from traffic, eg Route 12, Bloxham Road to White Post Road upgrading the existing bridleway, or Route 7, from Warwick road to Southam road using the line of an old railway. But others, eg Route 5 Bourton road to Castle Street via Southam Road, will involve narrowing the existing carriageway and/or reducing the speed limit which is likely to have a significant negative effect on traffic throughout the the town.
